Shannon Adams Office Manager Shannon was born up the road in Federal Way, Washington. She has four children who have been known to surprise her by bringing home pregnant guinea pigs bought from neighborhood friends. Her family loves to get outside and get dirty. Some of their favorite activities include hiking, riding quads, crabbing, and fishing. Shannon recently moved to Vancouver where her family is renovating their new house. Don't be surprised if her hands are covered by paint.
Dania Cook Front Office Dania was born in Sonora, Mexico but grew up in a large, blended family in Sacramento, CA. As the designated family babysitter and with two young sons of her own, Dania feels right at home surrounded by youngsters. Their sunny smiles and laughter easily make each day a special one!
When not in the office, Dania enjoys exploring the sights and cuisines of Portland alongside her husband, Jeremy, and sons, Carter and Eli. On less adventurous days, they love making family movies, listening to music and baking goodies.
Rachel Gorman Business Manager Rachel has been in dentistry for 25 years. She started as a dental assistant & moved into the front office in 2003. She has been married to the love of her life, Rusty since 1996. They have one son, Dylan who is in college. She loves family time, reading, & doing puzzles. She is from Vancouver & has lived in Washington State her whole life.
Adriana Jones Front office Adriana was born in California and moved to Oregon in 1993. She graduated from Concorde Career Institute in 1999 and has been working in pediatric dentistry for nearly 20 years! Adriana says that she always enjoys working with children and seeing them grow. She married her high school sweetheart and together they have two children. Their oldest daughter recently graduated from high school and is attending college. Their son is in middle school and loves to play sports. Adriana has been a soccer, cheer and basketball mom, and in her spare time enjoys family vacations, boating, cooking and spending time with friends.
Janelle Rabang Lead Dental Assistant Janelle was born in Hilo, Hawaii and moved to Oregon at a young age with her family. She received her dental assisting certificate at Concorde Career College in Portland, OR. Since 2012 she has been working as a dental assistant in a dental office for family dentistry. At this office, Janelle found that working with kids was the most fun part of her job. She feels that working with children is so rewarding because we have the chance to teach the kids how to have good oral hygiene care starting at a young age, and because of the silly things that kids say.
When she's not at work Janelle loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling to new places, meeting new people, hiking, swimming, cooking, shopping, going to concerts, and adventuring around Portland with her friends.
Cristina Guymon Dental Assistant Cristina was born and raised in Portland OR. She went to Concorde Career College and has been working as a general assistant since 2013. She enjoyed working with adults but always wanted to focus on working with children. She was excited when the opportunity came up to join Portland Children’s Dentistry in January of 2016.
At home she has a loving fiance' and three children, Hailey, Ava, and Jaxson. When she is not spending her day playing with your children here at the office, she enjoys doing crafts and taking her children all over to do fun Portland activities, such as the zoo, OMSI, and Playdate PDX. Cristina is half German and loves to eat/make German dishes.
Lisa Holca Dental Assistant Lisa completed her dental assistant degree in 2015 and has worked in pediatric dentistry since. She got married in September of 2017 and moved from Seattle to Portland where her husband grew up. Between her 6 siblings and her husband's 7 siblings, they are busy every weekend with birthday parties, weddings, and baby showers! Lisa loves coming from a big family. Outside of the office she enjoys family time, baking, and road trips. She also spends her free time working on service projects through her church. Lisa's favorite part of her job (and secret talent) is coaxing a smile out of even the most nervous patient!
Alyssa Goldsmith Dental Assistant Alyssa is married to Dylan Goldsmith and together they have six lovely children (2 girls, four boys aged 17,15,12,12,10,8) and are expecting our seventh soon.
