Dental cleaning


Teeth cleaning and regular exams are important for removing the plaque (bacteria) and calculus (mineral deposits) that can cause cavities, inflammation, and bad breath. A professional cleaning every 6 months is an effective way to maintain oral health.

Oral health instruction


Oral Hygiene is an important part of the recall or check-up appointment. At each appointment, we discuss how proper nutrition and good oral hygiene habits at home are important for good oral health.

Fluoride


Fluoride is a mineral that occurs naturally in many foods and water sources. It is also added to some community tap water, toothpastes and mouth rinses because it helps make enamel more resistant to tooth decay. We understand and respect that fluoride is not for everyone. Sealants


Dental sealants are an easy way to help prevent cavities. The chewing surfaces of our back teeth are susceptible to getting cavities, as food and bacteria are able to hide in the deep grooves. Sealants are a thin layer of white filling material that cover these deep grooves so bacteria cannot sit on the teeth and cause cavities.
